Stothert & Pitt RFC
The ladies’ toilet at Stothert and Pitt RFC was renovated during the summer as part of a wider bar refurbishment. The upgrade included new Roca toilets, wall studs, and a worktop fitted with modern basins and Grohe taps. A black column radiator and matching black mirrors were added to complete the look.
Electrical first and second fix work was carried out by Peaks Electrical, who also installed new downlights, hand dryers and wall lighting. Plastering and finishing work was completed by trusted independent trades. Flooring and final decoration were completed by others on the project.
Another Black Bathroom
This bathroom refurbishment involved removing an old black-tiled suite and replacing it with a modern, refreshed design. The project included a new bath with screen and shower, updated taps, a towel radiator, and a combined WC and basin unit supplied by BBS Plumbing and Heating Supplies.
Large-format 600 x 600 tiles were used to create a clean, contemporary finish, with a recessed niche added for extra storage. New vinyl flooring was installed, and Peaks Electrical fitted a chrome extractor fan and wiring for the illuminated mirror.
Before and After
This en-suite renovation began with the removal of the existing tiles and fittings, making space for a complete refresh. The walls were retiled with a modern half-height tile and cladding finish, complemented by new flooring for a clean and updated look.
A new electric shower and frameless glass screen were installed, along with a close-coupled WC, vanity unit and matching basin. The original bath was retained but upgraded with new taps to tie in with the updated suite.
The heating and electrical elements were also modernised. A new towel radiator was fitted, and Peaks Electrical installed the extractor fan, lighting and wiring for the illuminated mirror to complete the project.
Pool House
This project involved completing the plumbing and heating installation for a newly built pool house constructed by Russell Brothers Development Ltd. The space was fitted with a 150-litre unvented cylinder to provide reliable hot water, along with a small kitchen area featuring a new sink and tap.
The bathroom area includes a close-coupled WC, a wall-hung basin with a vanity unit, and a walk-in wet room setup. The shower features a concealed Roper Rhodes valve with both a drench head and handset, enclosed with a glass screen for a modern, clean finish.
Tiling throughout the pool house was carried out by Marwan Interiors, with the surfaces cleaned and sealed on completion to ensure durability and a high-quality finish.
Bathroom Refurb
This project involved a full refurbishment of an existing bathroom, replacing the old suite with a new WC, basin with vanity unit, bath, electric shower, screen and matching taps. The layout was kept simple and functional while giving the room a much fresher, modern feel.
The walls around the bath were retiled in a marble-effect finish, paired with warm oak-style floor tiles and clean half-height white tiles to brighten the space. This combination helped create a balanced look that feels both contemporary and welcoming.
Plastering was completed by GBspar, and Peaks Electrical took care of the lighting and electrical upgrades needed to finish the room to a high standard.
Timber Frame Annex
This bathroom was installed within a newly built timber-frame annex, starting with full preparation of the walls and floor using moisture-resistant boarding and strengthened subfloor layers. This created a safe, durable base ready for tiling and the freestanding bath platform.
The room was finished with elegant wall and floor tiles in a soft ivory tone, complemented by black trims for contrast. Two recessed niches were added to provide practical storage and enhance the overall look of the space.
The new suite includes a freestanding bath with gold taps, a matching shower, a vanity unit with worktop, a wall-hung basin, a back-to-wall WC, and a black towel radiator. Electrical finishing touches were carried out by the on-site electrician, completing a modern, stylish annex bathroom.
